  Having trouble with radios on a C-5 Galaxy panel have downloaded two versions one from this wonderful site and another from avsim.  On either version none of the radios will change freq not by keyboard commands or buy clicking on the numbers.  things that make you go MMMMM?  These version are C5mpn2k2_10 & RLC5pnl. Anyone experiance similar prob or know the trick.

Open your aircraft.cfg file.  Look for the lines that read something like this:

[Radios]
// Radio Type=availiable, standby frequency, has glide slope
Audio.1=1
Com.1=1, 1
Com.2=1, 1
Nav.1=1, 1, 1
Nav.2=1, 1, 0
Adf.1=1
Transponder.1=1
Marker.1=1

The first entry in each type should be 1, "available".  If it's not available it won't hurt to leave it at 1.

The third entry, "glideslope", should only be 1 on the Nav1 radio.

The second entry, "standby" is probably causing your problems.  If your radio gauges don't have standby frequencies you can not tune them.  Try changing these to 0.

Also,
Some panel.cfg files don't have any radio entries in them at all.
You can copy and paste one of your own into it.

You must be using the panel from the GMAX C-5.
I built another with some more bells and whistles. I really didn't think it looked good enough to post, so I just use it for myself.

Let me know if you'd like to give it a try.  Wink
