I've not been on the forum for a couple of days and missed the original challenge so to make up for it a bit I've added a few extra stunts Wink
...
Seafire! Take off from the carrier.
...
Once around the Golden Gate.
...
A first look at the challenge.
...
Warm up act. Flying a near by bridge.
...
Extra points for air speed? 305knts.
...
Flying the challenge.
...
More points for air speed? 308knts.
...
Victory loop.
...
And now for my usual "too fast" landing!
...
Home in time for tea.

I did all of this in one flight. No crashes or "bumps" but it got a bit "out of shape" a few times and I did need two goes at the main bridge.

Charlie there is a V here in the classic section of downloads (I can't remember the wing config though), also try looking in the CFS2 section as they are compatible with FS2k2!!!

I've got another one I'm working on, I just want to be able to do it before I post it.  It doesn't involve a bridge either...

BTW, Hawker, Why didn't you land back on the carrier?  Too easy for you? Smiley

Land on the carrier ?.....how about "IN" the carrier....the one off San Deigo has a hangar deck you can deal with....do a standard approach and stick with it, but let it get a bit lower than normal......been there......done that.......posted images.....

Charlie pal, that's one of my better landings! I almost glided in and still came down too fast. Do it every time Wink I love this Spit. In fact I just love all these clipped wing models, LF IX LF XVI & LF V. VB Planes do a clipped MkV but it's not the best model I've seen and is looking a bit old now. There is a repaint available for it also and that makes it look much better (propper wing leading edge colours etc.) The plane is at Sim Outhouse but I can't remember where I got the repaint.

Kev pal, if you've seen my normal landing you will see why I decided not to try the carrier Wink
