That's the working model of Boeing's newest airliner in the works ... 

The final configuration, shape hasn't been "set" ... so any model that comes out *may* not reflect the final shape.

I've heard that what Boeing is working on after the demise of the Sonic Cruiser is likely to be a more efficient version of a current airliner, like a triple-7, or 767 - or is it likely to be  new design altogether?

In the press releases I have received from Boeing, the 7E7 has been described as more of a mid-size jet, with capacity similar to the 757, but with a two-aisle configuration.  As far as larger-capacity jets are concerned, they already have the 777-300ER in the works! Smiley
