Simviation and FSIn-flight Magazine hope to assume a regular slot within FSI magazinehttp://www.fsinflight.com/ in the form of “Simviation’s Hot Picks”.

It is intended this monthly feature will detail 5 models that have recently become available in the Simviation file library that are considered of particular merit. Each of the 5 models featured will include a screenshot of the aircraft as well as short summary of the model and its features – as well as the models file name. (The models can then be downloaded via the Simviation library by FSI readership).

We are looking for a seasoned simmer who would feel able to represent Simviation in this respect – and would be able to commit to the compilation of this monthly slot.

Applications from Simviation users are therefore warmly welcomed so that you can help support Simviation and FSI whist giving a little back to the community.

Think Global. It's the world we live in.

Well, I am almost sure I am up for it, just so I can be sure.... can you be a bit more specific about what we will have to do?

Hi Liran,

I hope I can help offer some further clarification with respect to this slot, and how we envisage it working.

Basically the idea is to look at Simviation’s file library each month – between the release dates of FSI, so 14th of each month to the 14th of the next – and pick out 5 files that you feel are most notable, and offer a brief catchy summary of each of these five files as well as the file and author names.

There doesn’t have to be too much writing – as long as you manage to summarise the models concerned reasonably well the length it takes you to do it is really your call (not too short though).  Wink

Not a lot of work, by any means – though should you wish to write a little more we would be more than happy to publish it.

This slot will be a Simviation slot, carrying the Simviation logo and direct links to this site, so if you feel that you can represent Pete & Simviation then go for it.

(Obviously the credit for the article will be correctly and fairly attributed to the author concerned).

This is an exciting project that may lead to further developments, but for the time being at least it will serve not only as great content for FSI but also as a very public expression of affiliation between Simviation and ourselves (an affiliation of which FSI is most proud).

Hope this helps, Liran.  Smiley

I'd suggest asking people who post a lot of screenshots and reviews in the forum.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.
