I haven't heard of any silly things going on in the SF Chronicle, but there was a report about 2 remarkable talented and handsome 747 pilots putting on a fab free airshow the other day. The pilot of the cargo model was also demonstrating the art of downing a bottle of red wine whilst inverted
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

That must have been Bob Hoover, he's the only one I have ever heard of pouring drinks while doing deadstick barrel rolls and loops into a landing.......actually saw the man do this flying a few yrs ago...(not the pouring part, I've only seen on TV)

Come off it Ken. Bob is not better looking than me, at least not once the brown paper bag and Ray-Bans are in place
Mind you he is one of my flying heros!
