Hi there,
I just had a new graphics card installed(GForce) as well as a ram upgrade. FS2002 works great and my overall performance is terrific.
I only have one very small but annoying problem. Since doing these upgrades my monitor (rather cheap 17" Cicero that came as bundle) has begun making a minor hissing noise. It happens about every 10 seconds or so and is similar to the high pitch whine when the monitor is first turned on. It is the most noticeable when I am actually not in FS2002.(probably because of the noise of aircraft engines, etc.) I know this is more of a computer question than a flight sim question but if anyone has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated. Maybe time for a new monitor?? Maybe a small tweek in monitor settings??
Thanks
Eric

You can play with the settings a bit and see if you eliminate the "hissing". But at the same time, see if the manf. of your monitor has some updated drivers out there. Usually new drivers will fix problems with monitors after installing the newer graphics cards.
