Is there a way after I have planned my flight to have my path marked in the sky for me to follow in FS2002?

no, but if you load a flightplan, it will be marked with a green line on your GPS

I Like Flight Simulation!
If your flight plan is VOR to VOR you could turn on Aircraft/Navigation/EFIS and tune NAV1 to the next VOR station. EFIS will show you the highway to the next VOR. EFIS seems to work only with VOR and ILS signals so it wouldn't help with a direct route.
