Been waiting on one of these for free for ages...finally one has been uploaded.  Get it on CFS3 Aircraft Page 6 here at SimV. Wink

Here's the shots:

The DVC (well what's there of it) is stunning, but the textures on the outside of the model need som more work.  No doubt this will be updated with the bugs fixed, though... Grin..download and enjoy if you have CFS3.  Trust me, the game isn't the same without the Hawker Hurricane roaming the sky, blowing Hun bombers up. Wink

Nice one Whitey. I think you could give Patrick Didier some credit & thank him for uploading it here. It looks like a fine model which is no less than I would expect from him.

I don't see much wrong with the DVC.  ???

Well Doug, the only problem with the DVC is that what you can see in the screenshot is simply all that's there at all... Smiley

Look in the CFS3 forum where I just about a heart attack when I saw the plane had been uploaded. Wink

Sorry Whitey. I hadn't checked the file out myself & didn't realise it wasn't finished. I think this is Pat's first effort with Gmax. He's been away from the hobby for a long time & it's great to see him back. He admits he's not too good with textures  I'm sure he will send you the templates if you you want to have a go at the paint job. If anyone can finish the DVC & improve other bits & pieces I notice he's offering the source file too.  Wink

I'm actually just going to improve on the textures that are already there.  They do make a good base to start adding weathering and smudge marks. Smiley
