I bought a flightsim 2002 package from a software dealer during 2002.  unfortunately he closed down.  When I installed the programme I received the following message :"Beta time period has expired" and then the programme abort.  Could any one please help with a fix?

You've bought an FS2002 beta copy which are deliberately time limited to stop them being sellable (normally).

Where ever you got it from, I'd suggest going back (with a big stick) and getting your money back.

Incidentally, you've missed out on loads using that version. The graphics weren't fully enabled until the gold release meaning you've been looking at a very poor facsimile of what the game normally looks like. Not to mention als having all the pre-gold bugs still present.

Sorry - missed that bit.

Yes, I'd say that contacting Microsoft is a good idea. If you can supply sufficient information, they may take pity and replace it.

Not surprising they shut down by the sounds of it...
