Unbelievable...Payware AGAIN!!! This is getting quite sick and i fear that the entire FS add-on community will soon produce nothing but payware! Why is everyone getting in to this hobby for their own benefit$.

Cry If you guys will be going payware with this one, you'll be having a lot of trouble selling it: ID3 is coming up with an amazing F-18 package and so is Lago...

might want to take a look at those first.. Embarrassed

it looks very good though Smiley

Ok, again, like mustang said 'we are making a FREEWARE stuka'

and Slider we are not in this hobby for our own benefit, we moddel planes for the fun of it, but because of the excesive amount of time these ac take to compleate we would like to make a few bucks in the prosses. If you want freeware planes YOU can make one yourselfe and put in the hard work and time it takes to finish an ac. and then release it as freeware  Wink

But again we are making a very nice stuka dive bomber for the people that want freeware planes, its nearly compleate. I will put up the pics in my following post

oh and asnamara where can I find the ID3, and Lago f-18??

Thanks for all of the replys

P.S I hope you guys like the Ju-87 Smiley

Nice pics.  Roll Eyes However I think the war bird looks better than the F-18. Just my opinion.  The F-18 looks good but I'm not paying for it.  I know it takes a lot of work to make these but it is for a GAME!  you don't need to keep making money off of an aircraft that you made for FUN!  Oh, Well.  Have a good one!

if they aint, the swastica is pointing to the wrong side, and the markings on the side of the fuse need to be revised....as far as i know they were a bit thicker, the swastica goes on a 45o angle and it looks like a S.... Roll Eyes

asides from that is awesome! i cant wait!!!! Grin

yeah I have been meaning to make those changes for a while now, and, now that I think of it, I think I did mirror the sawastica Roll Eyes

For many this is way more than a "game"! It is your choice if you buy it (or don't), I have quite a bit of payware, and I don't regret any of it. If this was just a game to everyone I don't think FSD, Dreamfleet, LAGO, Simflyers, etc, would be around, but then again, you'd probably be happy then.

Guys, the Stuka looks sweet!! I agree, the stuke looks better than the hornet and with the other ones coming out it will be hard to sell, but it looks good, great job guys!

thats odd... because we worked on the stuka for 1.5 weeks, and the f-18 for nearly a year... Roll Eyes  maybe its just the texture ??? later on, we may post some pictures showing every aspect of the hornet, including panel, vc, landing gear, contrails, and all 6 liveries Smiley

oh, and I dont know if it will be too hard to sell if we finish ours first Grin because it looks like the others still have a ways to go Tongue

thats very true. you guys should go for the speed record then to get more customers  Wink Anyways Lago though will obviously make it with much more schemes and payloads...and I3D will make a huge pack out of it (or so i believe..) with C, E, and F models and many schemes. I think their C model is close to being done though...anyways good luck sellin it, it looks excellent very nice work

OK, I think they both look great.  Personally, I think the model of the F-18 looks better but I like the Stuka better overall (probably because I prefer WWII planes over anything else).  Anyway, I was curious as to what program those are built in-I was thinking it was GMAX but I'm not sure-is it?

I wish I could afford to buy the F-18 but I won't be able to (I'm currentl pumping every spare dime I have into a car project) but I will download the Ju87.  Can't Wait!

What?  GMAX offers better performance than either version of FSDS.

By the way, as far as the Stuka's markings go, the Swastika is too thin, and you can reference it with this:
....
As for the markings, you can compare/contrast with this image:
....
The full sized image is at some Japanese site.

Behold my dark side... ... (lightning flashes) I actually just try to know as much as I can about World War II.  But at my ripe young age my brain tends to reject all the information I try to feed it!  The only WWII date I have memorized, is when the whole thing started: September 1, 1939.

So how far along is everything in the Junkers?  Textures, model etc.  And another question, will the textures be put into one big bitmap as the stock aircraft are, or will they be divied up into 15 different bitmaps?  I've always disliked a lot of texture files, since it's such a big hit on FPS.
