OK so I got FS2002 and man am I impressed.  It's the first version I have gotten since 98 and wosers what a difference 5 years make.  Anyway, I evidently am a bigger Loser than I thought as I am now reinstalling FS for the third time in 4 days.  I have the whole airplane download and install figured out and I eve got one of the ATC programs workgin taht plays some background chatter.

BUT, and you knew there would be a but. I keep messing up my textures or something whenever I try and install any of the scen files.  I downloaded JFK, CVG and the SC air force base pack and WHAMO next thing I know I am staring at white blocks for trees and buildings.

The one I am most interestedin is the CVG 2 part scen file that has the new DHL hub and dynamic scen at the airport.  I work for DHL and would love to fly my 727's run from CLT to CVG at night.  I thought I followed the direction and put the tex and scen files in the right place but evidently not.

Any ideas?

Sincerely: Buckethead

What I've had to do the several times something like that has happened to me is to reinstall DirectX, rather than the FS ...

Also make sure you have the "standard" Airport, Nova, Nova Gold textures and Gerrish Grey's trees pack. most 3rd party scenery's need theese and don't usualy include them to keep the download size manageable
