omg, andrew, you need some history lessons... on april 26th,1986 ,a nuclear reactor exploded in tchernobyl (near kiev),USSR due to a core meltdown. a nearby city was evacuated and radioactive clouds spread over almost the whole of europe. there had been a nice chaos after the accident...and the consequences of the accident still last until today (cancer ,contaminated plants and animals).

ok, I think I may have heard something of that sort

As these series were made in the UK for British TV I'm surprised they're popular or even remembered in the US. I'm also wondering what happened between Gerry Anderson & his wife (sister? ) Sylvia who I believe was his partner. http://www.sylviaanderson.org.uk/
They both seem to have separate websites & neither mentions the other's contribution. ???

That is one cool plane - and no, i've never heard of that show either. And I've never felt so old as I have reading this post - and Im only 24! I remember watching the challenger explosion in school live.

I am very interested in downloading that aircraft Crumbso!
