Will add-on scenery created for FS2000 work in FS2002? I figured I would ask before wasting time downloading and trying for myself.

Should do.
Very occasionally you'll hit elevation problems where there are differences but I've yet to do so myself. I have a number of FS2000 (and the odd piece of FS98) scenery installed without hiccups.

Yes, with qualifications.
You'll have to add your own ATC and UI entries to the aircraft.cfg and FS2002 simicons to the panel if you want them.
No Virtual cockpits (they didn't exist in FS2000) and float planes won't float without .air file amendments.
Some have Flight dynamic problems in FS2002 but then again, so do some FS2002 aircraft.

Thanks, but I think I'll just stick with the scenery, I have plenty of aircraft as it is anyways.
