Hi friends:

Can anybody help me locate an FS2002 compatible West Coast Airlines DC 9?  I have looked everywhere I can think of to find this classic 1960s airliner.  West Coast, as most of you know, merged with other airlines to become Hughes (the ugly yellow planes).  Anyway, any help you can lend would be GREATLY appreciated.  Thanks much!!

Scott,

I would categorize this as a difficult request because the only pictures I have ever seen of a West Coast DC-9 were published in Airliners Magazine a few months back when they ran an article about the origins of Hughes Air West.

Here's a suggestion:

If you want to get some results, go to the AI Aardvark web site and post a repaint request in their forum.  They appear to be the leader in repaints for all series of DC-9's.  Their models are ideal for AI traffic, but with a few tweaks can also be used for flying.  Make sure you are specific about what series you are looking for (in this case, it would probably be a DC-9-10 or DC-9-30) and mention the photos of West Coast Fairchild F-27's that are posted on Airliners.net to be used as references.

Good luck!

Erik
