I'm using S-Combo while flying my Hawaiian 777 (Meljet).  When my "Co-pilot calls out "Localizer alive", what is he telling me?  What is a localizer, and should I pay attention to this remark. Also, what exactly "triggers" him to say this.  What should I be doing or looking for when he says this??

Also, how does one "walk" or move around in the cabin. I read the readme with the 777 and it just says to "walk" . I would if I knew how.  Anyone know how??

thanks

The localizer is the green line type thing going upto the Runway which you can see on the GPS. Basically used with an ILS approach for an auto landing. I guess "Localizer alive" means that you are in the localizer and it's switched off the Alt hold to begin its own descent.

Right.
If you're making a ILS approach, ATC will have you enter at a shallow angle to capture the ILS and Localizer. When your co-pilot says "Localizer Alive", he's telling you that your insturments have picked up the Localizer beacon and you're now tracking it on approach. Watch your insturments. You should be set on the ILS frequency, and Approach Heading, and be making small adjustments to keep the needle lined up with the runway.

Here's the real deal...the "localizer" is the horizontal steering part of the ILS system.  When the copilot says "localizer alive" it just means the the needle of the instrument is off the peg, and it alerts you to be ready to make the turn onto the localizer course.  That call is part of the CRM -- the crew resource management -- that ensures that both pilots are paying attention!
