Hi everyone,
I have a real big Problem with some ADDON Panels in FS2K Professional.
Im Running a WinXP Professional System.
Some of my Addon Panels are setting "Speakers from 5.1 Surround" to "Desktop-Stereo" in WinXp ????!!!!.
Its definitiveley the Panels or the Gauges they are using, because the same soundfiles and Aircrafts in combination with other Panels do not make such trouble !!!
Any suggestion to me ???

Are you using Creative Surround Mixer? This sometimes happens to me. Sometimes it does it by itself or if you select an EAX effect that's not in 5.1. FS2002 is only recorded in stereo sound anyway. I'm sure it's not FS2002 causing the problem.

Im using an Asus Board A7V333 with onboad C-Media 5.1 Soundcard ....
And : its is under guarantee some ADD-ON-Panels or the Gauges combined with them, because i am able to reproduce it Smiley
It never happens if you use a Panel which uses Defaul-Gauges only !!!
For eg if you use the Swissair A319-112  Version 2.0

Paint by J.Bertschinger
Model by IADG
Panel by Giovanni Combattelli and Ruggero Osto, Italy

Which is a very nice looking and cool Panel, but selecting it will switch your Sound-Settings from 5.1 to Desktop  ???

Just try it and you will se that you can Reproduce it Smiley

Using the Same Airplane for eg. with lame Standart 737 Panel your System will not switch Sound settings ...
