If you want my job all you hafe to do is join the Airforce like I did!  Theres little things that need fixed but not to many --->big jobs<--- like a cracked spar or something.  I do AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL MAINTENANCE  heres a link for info on my job I also work on F-15's http://usmilitary.about.com/library/milinfo/afjobs/bl2a7x3.htm

P.S. Cure chefs sit an look at the AC all day an night ASM makes the damn thing fly...

Hey Bman long time no C!!! Its great to be around again...  I worked on my 1st new F-16 last night and it was kick ass.  I work on F-15C & E's if I had it my way I would stick with 16's god there easy to work on...

yah, looks like the would be a lot less complex than a fully laden f-15e, but you got to have respect for the strike eagles Wink

I couldn't join the USAF even if I wanted to.Anyways,I was joking because if you work on them & they dont break you must have a nice easy life (I know military life is anything but easy.lol)

Hey Lurch I hope I didnt come off sounding rude if I did im sorry man...  Oh and non U.S. residents can join the U.S. military they just hafe to have a waver.  Its pretty cool I have alot of friends thats in the AF with me thats not from the U.S.

You better look out N505AF, I sent in my application to the Air Force Academy 2 weeks ago hehe. So in about 5 years you better get used to calling me sir LOL, but if I don't get into the USAFA then I'll enlist and I'll be calling you sir  Roll Eyes

P.S. What rate are you now. I'm taking JROTC right now and right when I get out of boot I get an automatic promotion to E-3 hehe.

Thats great Blade best of luck to yeah but heres some bad news for you enlisted an officers all pretty much call one another sir its just a respect thing.  Im only a Airman right now which is a E-2 I only have like two months tell I get A1C <--- I joined for four years not six Plus I didnt have ROTC behind me.  But thats all ok becouse when you do get you 1st stripe you know that you and only you earned it.  Heres some really good news for yeah Blade the USAFA is kind of low on people right now so you should have a really good chance of getting in...
