Which sim should I use? (Read 282 times)

Hello

I'm quite new to this simulator-thing and me and my friend would like to play some co-op games with modern planes. We're looking for a game where we like fly F-18 or something like that and go on bomb run or dogfight missions in a two man wing.

Any suggestions?
We both have new computers so hardware isn't a problem. I've seen some of the aircrafts that are downloadable for CFS2003 but as I haven't tried that game yet, I'm kinda curious which game is best.

Cheers

Well if system stats is not a problem and you like flying WWII planes then go for it. There are some jets in the game but not these hightech late 20th century jets like the f-18. I heard Janes USAF is pretty good and it does have modern jets; dont know if it has MP though. CFS2 which is the predessesor to CFS3 is also a WWII combat sim taking place in the pacific theater. There are no default jets in the game but there are many jet add-ons out there that you can use. So if you're really looking for the modern stuff you should stick to either Janes USAF or anything similar.

PS: There is an F-18 combat game out there; janes F/A-18, i heard its quite good
