This is an international airport in Athens, Greece which doesn't appear in my default list.

Could anyone please check if it's present in theirs please?

Forget it.

I've discovered it wasn't included by default and d/loaded the add--on scenery for it.

Important for PAI package users!!

This airport is used in PAI flightplans in several packages. You must download the AFCAD for it (and obviously preferably the visual scenery too) in order for your A.I. traffic to behave as intended.

What airport is it ? Is it Elephterios Venizelos ? If yes, 1 month ago soon after coming back from the real airport I checked if it was included in FS2002 : I could not find it ! It's funny because the old Hellenikon was closed in 2000 and the FS programmers could have had all the time to include it in the package !

Yes that's the one.

I've a feeling the new one didn't open until sometime during 2001 so it may have missed the development schedule for FS2002. It does seem odd that they re-opened the old one though..

I picked it up at Avsim. You'll need the following files to get it complete and with AFCAD:

lgav2002.zip (Main scenery)

lgav2k2u2b_107954.zip (Update)

ailgav01.zip (AFCAD file)

Note!!!! - There are other updates for this scenery in the library there but after careful investigation you don't need them. They're all superceded by the update mentioned above.

The files I've mentioned all work together, don't be distracted by other AFCADS etc. - they're for V1.0 of this scenery not V1.2 (which is what this is despite the V2.0 title).

The only problem with the scenery is that that the bgl file doesn't use the hwy.bmp texture (roads) for some reason. This means you get a long white strip where the road should be. None of the other updates address this and I've e-mailed the author asking for suggestions to correct it.
