I am thinking about trying to do some scenery design.  Never done anything like this before and have been just reading the threads here.  Saw this Land class and was wondering if anyone here has used it and if so how would it compare to FSSC??

One of the things that I really want to do is to add some arrival gates (jetdocks) to my home airport KGSP.  I have not found any updates to the airport anywhere that include these.  Would this be difficult to do??  Is it just a scenery add on??  Thanks in advance for any advice. Smiley

Hi Jerry. Land class scenery redefines the land classification of a large area, adding more accurate and realistic textures and fine-tuning the autogen scenery.

I can recommend FSSC for the conventional scenery design you're interested in. It's not difficult once you understand the basic principles. Make sure you get the latest version 1.5.7 which is now much easier to understand.  http://fssc.avsim.net/downloads.html
Ideally, you would be familiar with adding/managing 3rd party scenery via the Scenery Library before attempting to modify anything.
