Aircraft sound packs are usually installed into your 'Aircraft\Sound' folder.

I recomend and prefer to move most aircraft soundpacks to the 'FS2002\aircraft\FSFSConv' directory and simply alias to it instead. This saves on disk space and also allows me to keep it if I decide to delete the aircraft folder which it originally belonged to.

Exactly what Andrew said.

A lot of folks don't like to use it, but I use Flight Zip 2000. It's an "aircraft installer".
NEVER USE IT FOR THAT.

What it is good for is to instantly alias panels and sounds to aircraft from a list of aircraft, panels and sounds that are installed in your FS. You don't have to open any .cfg files or copy and paste anything.

Always, manually insert your files into the correct folders, but you can use FZ2000 for picking and choosing panels and sounds.
