A student pilot flying practice touch and go landings in a C150,
hits a bird on the downwind leg.
The bird damages the windshield and restricts his vision.
The student declares an emergency and sets up for landing.
The tower asks if he requires emergency services.
The student pilot calmly replies "No it's OK I think the bird is dead".
