I've been flying RC model aircraft since 1980. Athough still a member of the club I haven't touched them for the last 2 years. This is mainly due to the foot & mouth disease fiasco of 2001 which put paid to all my activities for almost the whole year. All our club flying fields are on livestock farms. I kinda got used to not doing it & found other interests. Now summer's on the way I'm hoping to do something about this soon.

I do a bit now and then. I can now fly my old trainer without any (or too much) drama and am building a small Spitfire fun fighter.

I've been flying R/C aircraft since July 2001. This is my third season. Haven't been in a couple of weeks though as it's been very windy here. I own an Avistar and a damaged Superstar (long story). I'm currently building a parkflyer and am on again/off again trying to cover my custom built modified Tiger2.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. Wink&&The Rig: &&AMD Athlon XP2000+ Palomino, ECS K7S5A 3.1, 1GB PC2700 DDR, Geforce FX5200 128mb, SB Live Platinum, 16xDVD, 16x10x40x CDRW, 40/60gb 7200rpm HDD, 325w Power, Windows XP Home SP1, Directx 9.0c with 66.81 Beta gfx drivers

i have a goldberg gentle lady, electra and another  plane that i found a picture of the plans in an old rc book and i enlarged it, i can't remember the name of it. it has a .15 engine and i have two wings for it one that looks like a kite that will make this plane fly 10-15 mph and the original wing that will allow the plane to fly a little faster than a trainer aircraft and it will do some aerobatics.  i have even flown this one yet.  just about the time i finished the one with the engine, my dad and i started a homebuilt aircraft.  i haven't touch my rc stuff in 5 years now.  maybe one of these days i will get back into it.

I started out on a gentle lady xp 1900 awesome bird! I just finished building a spirit 2M glider (hope to have its first flight in a couple of weeks!), and also fly a spirit 100. Finding thoes thermals is so rewarding. my record flight is 45 mins. My dad and I also run RC boats. Mostly scale but we do have some fun running our koysho bluestreak  Grin

I fly R/C airplanes. I'm not exactly sure what type it is because of the fact that it has been smashed in the garage door and rebuilt (Long story.) I got an Me 109 for Christmas but haven't flown it yet. Hope to this summer. I've been down for a week or two due to a crash involving the 'garage door plane' which resulted in a cracked wing and a few other complications.

Unfortunatly, I became trapped in that viscous circle:

I build...
I fly....
I crash...
I build...
I fly...
I crash...

I started building pulling and monster trucks.
Much cheaper!
