Hey all,
I'm a newb here and I wanted to know if there is a very simple way to add huge amounts of traffic to busy real world airports. This would include adding amounts of traffic in general all over the world so I don't have to fuss with each airport I use since I alternate and don't stick to any particular ones. I'm sure this question has been asked many times, but often with complicated answers. I just want to maximize my realism by having to wait for clearance and taxiing, approaches, etc... Thanks for your help in advance.  Sad

Netplex,

Here's something to get you started:

http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=world+traffic&CatID=fs2002ai&Sort...

World Traffic will enable you to add realistic AI traffic without going through the hassle of creating flight plans.  It requires Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools and AI Traffic Mover.  You will also have to download all of the aircraft from Avsim and Project AI.  You may also have to create new AFCAD files for the airports you are using

No matter what you are trying to accomplish, there's always some work involved!

Good luck!  Erik

Thank you Erik! I hope it will work. I think this is just what I was looking for. I know there is some work involved, but most of it is just too much for what it's worth.

One quick question, can I get all planes needed in 1 complete package or do I need to track each one down seperately??

Thanks again!

I don't know the exact answer because I've always custom-installed the airlines of my choice rather than use World Traffic.  Before following any suggestion of mine, it would be worth reading through any literature that came with that program to see what they suggest.

My guess is that you can find a majority of the aircraft at Project AI, but I know they are in the midst of revamping their base models such that only some of them are accessible.  The base models are needed to apply textures of all the airlines.

My two other favorites for AI aircraft are anything designed by FSPainter or AIAardvark.  These aircraft can be found at Avsim.net.
