ever heard about Classic Aces or SimTech? well, i've read they are making very good detailed models for FS2002 and FS2004!
they already made CFS2 planes (free and payware) and their designers are learning how to make planes for CFS3. therefore they now provide some free CFS2 planes from an extremely good quality! go to
www.classicaces.com
(german aircraft) to download them.
for FS2002/4 they are designing the following a/c's:
- Ford Trimoter 'De Luxe': features: walking airhostess, passengers playing cards, opening toilet door...
-Constellation
-North Smerican Harvard trainer
-Boeing Stratocruiser with a bar at the lower deck...ozzy?
- Concorde
-DC-4
-Avro Arrow
sounds good if you ask me.
here is their website:

thanx for your time but i thought it was worth it...

Ken, thanks for that. It's very interesting, especially when you put it together with all the other things that seem to be happening that we're hearing and talking about on the forum.
Animation is about to happen - BIG I reckon. So sorry boys, we're gonna have to think about the systems we're gonna need to run the stuff that's round the corner.
Looks like the day of the 3 GHz machine is about to dawn - much less and you're gonna be disappointed. Doors will stay closed for you (literally!).
Now where's the kid's piggy bank with that birthday money auntie gave him, while the little perisher's asleep....

Shame on you!! Raiding a kid's piggy bank. The checkbook for his college fund is in the file cabnet. Hopefully you can replace that before he graduates.

You only have to take a look at the prospective stuff in Microsoft Train Simulator 2 to see the way things are heading:
Animated people and animals are apparently part of the scenery in this forthcoming release which appears to incorporate the new FS2002 weather engine looking at the description.
I wouldn't expect to see these features out of the box in FS2004, but either the coding will be included to achieve it, or FS2006 is going to be one blindingly good sim...

I'll be waiting for FS2006. By which time I will well and truly need an upgrade so I'm hoping the financial side will come together about then to take advantage of what looks to be some pretty impressive stuff!!

That's what we like to see - a nice bit of long range financial planning!

LOL
Yeah, well the wheels have fallen of little red wagons before but with things changing(for me) FS has become a dedicated hobby and we all know what that can mean.

flight simulation will always be cheaper than getting an ATPL in real life!
