Greetings,
Granted, it's a short hop for a 777 from LaGuardia to Logan, but I found it odd that ATC had me level off at 3,000'. I mean, that may be OK for a small aircraft, but a 777? I assumed ATC takes the plane size into consideration. When I filed a plan for a one-hour flight on a Cessna in Europe a while back, I was instructed to climb to 11,000'. Any thoughts?

The first question that came to mind is if you are flying an add-on aircraft or not...........
If you're using an add-on aircraft, you might consider susbtituting the air file from the default 777-300 for the air file of the aircraft you are flying. In the folder of the aircraft you you are flying, rename the susbstituted air file exactly the same as the one you are replacing. Hopefully that will make a difference.

hi...
when you make your flight plan you can enter ant alt you want, this is the number atc uses when it instructs you at what alt you should be flying.
in the flight planner window click 'find route' at the bottom you can enter your desired alt.
i hope this helps
