I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me with this but here it is.
When playing CFS3 and I get shot up be enemy aircraft the damage textures do not show up so I don't see any bullet holes orlike on the body of my plane.
Also related to this is I cannot apply noseart and wing-tip colours to my aircraft. I can try but it won't show up.
This isn't so much of a problem but an annoyence.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

System specs?
Some graphics cards are limited and those features get disabled.
You might also take a look at the config utility to make sure they weren't turned off.

Put your aircraft detail slider at least to 3, that should do the trick.

Open up CFSconfig and go to custimize then overrides. A box labeled "Dual pass render" will be checked. Uncheck it and press ok.
This should guarentee the damage effects etc. Its always worked for others.
In the long run I recommend a new graphics card.

I found that I already had 'Dual Pass Render' unchecked so it must be my aircraft detail level.
Thanks again

Mathias hit it right on the head Biggles, at least 3 on the aircraft detail, 4 would be even better.
