Only problem is that Virtual Air Forces won't be able to use the product, at least not on a wide scale. Only the lucky few who have credit cards or who have parents who want their card over the net Cry...Will be a lot of dissapointed Virtual Aviators out there.

Very true. I myself made a personal vow to myself never to buy payware if its not for a good cause (e.g.:aircraft restoration) and personally i dont like to give certain stuff on the net like credit card info. So if I3D does indeed make their F-18s payware, ill just have to wait for other design groups to make one.

*Why are almost all the design groups developing the F-18 making it payware!!?? Roll Eyes

Being part of one of the bigger Military VA's I don't think the CC part is the biggest issue, it's telling your members they have to go purchase PAYWARE to play.

I'm part of the VUSAFS.com and their rule is NO PAYWARE of any kind in their hanger or for ground scenery like the arrestor cables.

It's a shame to, there are no real nice F-16's besides the Lago ones. I have the Lago but our group can't fly it Sad

You guys that won't buy payware can't complain about any decent airfiles then. You get what you pay for, I'm waiting for the I3D's product with baited breath

Believe me, if someone wants some of your information they can get it real easy over the internet already Wink

I dont think any people 'complain'. They might just comment. To be honest i dont really care if an airfile is good or bad since i can always switch it with another one or modify it myself.

yep. But anyhow i just dont trust anybody, not my neighbor, not my president, not nobody...you never really know if they're being honest or not.
Well, back to the original topic..by the time Milan releases his F-18 it will probably be rendered obsolete since i think it was made in FSDS1 (limitations..) and other great freeware F-18s might have already come out.

Hi,

I know it seems, that I forgot about my freeware Hornet model, but it isn't dead.
I had just another priorities - I have not only a second child, but also a new job, so I hope you will understand it. So the Hornet model was just sleeping in my virtual hangar.
Thanks to your mails and messages in several forums, I restored its development. Recently I finished several things on 3D model, panel and textures, which I want to complete.

It seems, that now remains only a documentation and installation package. Again - I can't tell you any exact release date, but I hope that your waiting won't be so long ...

I created also 3 new attractive skins for some fun flying - it could be at least a little compensation for your long waiting ...

Milan
