'02 - and its very customized inside - rear floor lowered, dvd, fridge, 2nd row removed, 3rd row bucket seats, wood trim all throughout, 11.5 inch screen in the back, surround sound (for dvd) GPS, air suspension, italian leather, wood floor(rear), xm radio
Basically, it is a limo tahoe.

The interior is nearly identical to this - all that is different is the wood floor.

Actually, its unstretched. I may "rent" it out tho, maybe 4-500 a day. Heh heh some profit in there considering its being done for free! (In exchange for training through CFI)

OK, I've spent a few minutes and found a pic of a 1996 Camaro that looks very simular to mine (remember, I have no digital camara), so here it is:
The only differences are that mine is a T-Top so the top of the car is black (instead of green) and so is the metal piece behind the window-basically the entire cab "bubble" is black. Secondly, mine has the upgraded Camaro alloy wheels which I think look a lot better. But besides that-this is my car.

I do make exceptions from time to time, and, if you have the money, sure, you can "borrow" it upon full payment. . . . . . . . . . .
BTW, personal use - for long (road) trips, when I go with friends.

Ahh the English countryside.......
I must admit BMan, Neither are "actual" shots.....
- no digi cam !
I do however have an e36 BMW (The style pictured above....) Mine however is 12Years and 134,000miles more used than the one I pictured! - Its also red!
Never the less, I'll confidently say its without doubt, the best car I've ever had the pleasure to own.
BMW dealer parts prices are truly absurd however!
Like any car in the end, great as long as it gets you from "A" to "B".
Quite honestly, I'd rather do a long trip in my truck than my car though! I wonder if this surprises anybody?
How I wish I had a view like that landscape.......

Well, I do drive (ST220), but to be honest, here in the UK with all the insurance, speed cameras, fuel prices and congested roads, I don't drive for pleasure anymore
Luckily I do have one of these.......
This is a Specialzed 2003 BigHit, 8" of travel front and rear, 4-pot hydraulic brakes, 3" tyres - basically a motocross bike with no engine.
I'm yet to find a copper/speed camera in the forest!

Thats a very nice bike. Kinda makes me want to spend some money on my Apollo thats rotting in the shed and get some serious exerice and have some fun at the same time (the rear wheel bearing locked the day before my driving test!
)
It was good to get from A to B, but the mantanence needed on it was so huge, even for a mountian bike on the road.
Word of advice, never buy a bike from Halfords

Hi there Bman......
Yes the red one is a Lotus Esprit Turbo. The Yellow one is my old Lotus Esprit series 1 - exactly the same as the James Bond car that came out of the sea in the Spy who loved me, although mine didnt have the submarine option installed.....heheh Those pics were taken on the day i got my new red one and said good bye to my yellow one.....
The grey one is a Vauxhall/Opel Calibra.

This shot was taken last year in early May, 3 days before my cross-country trip to Ontario........4800km in 3 1/2 days !
Its my 1995 Oldsmobile 88 Royale.....300,000+ km

What a fantastic feeling that while BMan, (Typhoon Cars), is stuck in an endless stationary queue of traffic on Los Angeles' Highway 101 due to a minor accident, I am zipping past it all on my Honda motor-bike without a care in the world... 8)...!

Hi Craig....
...!
I know exactly what you mean, we have to watch out for little Joey who wants to go walkies, and Grandma who can't wait any longer for a leak, and Mum who is fed-up with waiting and wants to get on with the shopping...
It's all part of the hazards which make motor-cycling so enjoyable...

(It keeps you VERY alert to dangers)...

You must really give it a try sometime Craig, your life will never be the same afterwards...LOL...LOL...LOL...!

Personally I'm a big Honda fan (have owned a couple, and burnt off a lot of mechanised mess-tins with them), but I'm not a huge CB500 fan, its a sound bike, but couldn't you put in a shot of your Blade just for little old me?

Well you should ride something with a water cooled engine Ken, or alternatively do what I do, and go so fast the police can't catch you

Hi Ken...
Over here you can legally use the whole of the road when safe to do so.
The only thing that is strictly illegal, is to cross over double white lines, (which makes sense).
Single and broken white lines are OK.
Sterling Moss always made the point of using ALL the road, "...that's what it's there for...", he said...!
In a long stationary queue of traffic in town I, (we), frequently ride down the right-hand side, (off-side), of the road, overtaking all the traffic, often passing police cars...
They give us no problems providing we are riding safely and not obstructing other oncoming traffic.
In other words, we don't contribute to the traffic jam...
...!
Cheers...
Paul.
(England).
P.S. Before very long, over here, there will only be room for two-wheelers, motor-bikes, scooters, and pedal bikes...

Thanks for that shot Fozzer, lovely piece of kit that.
I know what you mean about the wee twins being faster on the twisties. Mind you my cousin had a CB500 and it couldn't keep up with my old VF. Could be that I'm a bit of a nutter though...... I ride like I fly? There is a scary thought for all the motorists
Hopefully I'll get a blat on my friends GSX-R 750 tomorrow for a bit.... And the police pursuit cars here are Skodas
Could be a v.good day

Well I posted a picture of my bike, so here's the car...
It's a Ford Mondeo ST220, 3.0L 24v V6, - about 255BHP on a cold day
not really that fast in the scale of things, but it makes a rude noise, and is pretty discreet - keeps the rozzers at bay!

I love this sort of thread...
...!
When I see some of the super-dooper, high-speed, turbo-charged/super-charged, methanol burning, gas guzzlers, I think to myself, "How much insurance are these blokes paying for all of this?", so I look in their profile for their age, (teen-agers?), and then I seriously wonder....
....!
My Insurance premiums for my 150 MPH+ superbike is £73 per Annum, Fully Comprehensive.....
....!!!
...but for that, you have to be seriously OLD, (like me), with zillions of years experience, and be a sensible* driver/rider...
Cheers...

your lucky fozzer, for a 1.6 F reg ford escort it would cost me £1300 at the moment, thats rediculous. where as in the states a 5.4 1995 chevy camaro would cost about £1200 a year in insurance. add to that gas is about 1/8 of the cost over there, its just unbelievable how much we are being screwed in this country

Insurance is a nightmare, my latest quotes for the ST220 ranged from £2000 to £23,000!
The answer to that it to lease the vehicle, with an option to buy, in which case insurance is part of the deal. This way it's
just
affordable!

Exactly. Unfortunately, when I buy insurance, I'm not paying for any accidents I might have, but all those that others have, while uninsured. It's an epidemic in this county. Can you imagine what my insurance would be if I had a more expensive car, or lived in a high-crime area? No. Neither can I!

My insurance is huge!
Ok, 1.0 letre, FWD L reg (1993) Metro. If you thrash the engine and clutch you might just get 96mph out of it (Downhill with wind behind you, maybe 103mph).
My mum is named driver, im 2nd, it costs £800 a year, fully comp! for me only it would be £1,200 3rd party! Fucking rip off! I think this is because of the amount of boy-racers in my area, which is enormous too.
When it comes around again im meeting to guy personally, get the image across that im
not
a racer.

I enquired about Pass Plus, It made a difference...
...of about a fiver a year!
, utter bollocks so i didn't bother.
Out of CIS, Budget, Sainsburys, Tesco's and Direct Line, CIS was the cheapest. I only had a short list because i needed to drive to Cardiff the week later, and they were the only ones who could sort it out in that time. Or somthing like that
Charlie, I live in Shrewsbury. Its also a nice neibourhood, I haven't herd of any car crime all the 8 years ive lived in our estate.
I think it might be because my mum has been driving for 13 years, as a second driver, so no no-claims for her. I'm also 19, and therefore branded as an inexperienced hooligan who perfers big bore exhausts to MPG.

Mmm,
I'm 21 now, and to give you an idea, with the car insured in Herts, not that far out of London, on housing estate
Just so you know, I was looking at about £550-650 fully comp on said Metro (i don't know if being auto (can't be a**ed to change gear) made much difference) with Endsleigh, me being the named driver when I was 20...
They also bettered any other quote I've given them for th last 3 years, especially if you're a student.
Might be worth giving them a try next time, hope you get a better deal anyway...

This is not the exact car but it is the closes pic i could find. Just got it when it came to my dealership in British Columbia. It was cheap and AWSOME. Too bad i have to wait until summer to drive it again.

Well, for now, my ride is a 95 Mitsubishi Galant ES.
Nothing modified on it, completely stock. It's dark green. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of it for now. I'll post some later, maybe.
I really need some money to pay for my car's insurance and to get a license through a driving school (i still have a driving permit). And all that costs money, so, I really need to get a job to pay for all that !!!

I drive a Opel Astra 1.7 TD
Not the most powerfull car around ( understatement!), but it serves me well, i've been to Munchen, Hameln and Aix-En-Provence with it. All over 1.000 km from where i live.
It has 189.000 km at the moment, since i need it a lot for work.
Well i like it, anyway.
Here's a shot of the model:

Sorry, I should have explained. Strictly the CR125 is a trailie, but it can be legalised. That is what I meant.

1994 Beretta with 40K miles, AEM Coldair intake, Predator styling body kit, JSP Grand Touring Wing, Borla Spitfire Exhaust with 2 3/4' tubing all the way to the headers, new high flow header, new struts and I lowered it an inch with Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs and painted rear filler panels.
Im trying to find a turbo for it, cant yet, I might have to have it specially made.

What do you mean, like how many RPM's will she get up to?
Its an automatic and I dont have an RPM gauge so I dont know...haha. Maybe I should get one.
Its the most standard beretta there is, like no power windows, no cruise control, no keyless entry, nothing. Surprised it has air-conditioning.

This is my present car. I bought it new in August 2000 with 26 miles on it. This pic was taken fall of the same year from The Blue Ridge parkway in North Carolia where I lived in Asheville.
Some have asked me why the light blue metallic color...because i am a firm believer in fast or aggressive colors net more police tickets. I have been pulled over a few times in this car and only received a warning. Plus its easier to keep clean, though the light gray interior is a pain.

a 3.1 is crap, not powerful at all really. My friend has a 1960 something transam with a 454 in it, thats equivilent to a 6.6 Liter, he also has a 1970 with a 350 in it.
My dad drives a 1998 GMC with a 350 vertec in it, and my mom drives a 2003 Taurus that has 225 horsepower.

remember though, its not always about the horsepower, low end torque is key also weight, a taurus, is a heavy car. I am also guessing it is an automatic which doesnt help much.
then again when ya look at some cars its scarey, the Dodge viper i believe has 500hp, but has two choices of gears, close gearing with high torque means it will burn anything off the starting line, but it has a low top speed, where as the further spaced gears with lower torque might be slower off the line but its got a phenominal top speed.
all depends on how the manufacturer utilises the HP and engine size.
i believe thats correct, feel free to pick apart that which is wrong:)

Lol, have to agree here too. I've been overtaken by a few tractor units before now....going uphill.
I once got a ride in a Volvo truck, not sure what it was, but by God, could that thing SHIFT! An auto box really helps when you're stirring 20+gears!
