What a fantastic feeling that while BMan, (Typhoon Cars),  is stuck in an endless stationary queue of traffic on Los Angeles' Highway 101 due to a minor accident, I am zipping past it all on my Honda motor-bike without a care in the world... 8)...!

Hi Craig.... Grin...!
I know exactly what you mean, we have to watch out for little Joey who wants to go walkies, and Grandma who can't wait any longer for a leak, and Mum who is fed-up with waiting and wants to get on with the shopping...
It's all part of the hazards which make motor-cycling so enjoyable... Grin...!
(It keeps you VERY alert to dangers)... Wink...!
You must really give it a try sometime Craig, your life will never be the same afterwards...LOL...LOL...LOL...!
...trust me... Wink...!

I see the new camera is getting plenty of use Fozzer Grin
Personally I'm a big Honda fan (have owned a couple, and burnt off a lot of mechanised mess-tins with them), but I'm not a huge CB500 fan, its a sound bike, but couldn't you put in a shot of your Blade just for little old me?

Cheers

Paul, there is only one thing wrong with riding the lines between the lanes over here.....its called Lane-Splitting and its ILLEGAL !.......Law was made for safety reasons, as you can well imagine...........
.....not that I ever did it......I rode the shoulder and when confronted by the local coppah, I told him I needed to cool my engine or he would have more reason for plugged traffic lanes........ 8)   Roll Eyes
Easy to get away with when temps hit 90+F

Well you should ride something with a water cooled engine Ken, or alternatively do what I do, and go so fast the police can't catch you Grin Grin Grin

Hi Ken...
Over here you can legally use the whole of the road when safe to do so.
The only thing that is strictly illegal, is to cross over double white lines, (which makes sense).
Single and broken white lines are OK.

Sterling Moss always made the point of using ALL the road, "...that's what it's there for...", he said...!

In a long stationary queue of traffic in town I, (we),  frequently ride down the right-hand side, (off-side),  of the road, overtaking all the traffic, often passing police cars...
They give us no problems providing we are riding safely and not obstructing other oncoming traffic.
In other words, we don't contribute to the traffic jam... Wink...!

Cheers...
Paul.
(England).

P.S. Before very long, over here, there will only be room for two-wheelers, motor-bikes, scooters, and pedal bikes... Wink...!

Hopefully I'll get a blat on my friends GSX-R 750 tomorrow for a bit.... And the police pursuit cars here are Skodas Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Could be a v.good day Shocked

Well I posted a picture of my bike, so here's the car...

It's a Ford Mondeo ST220, 3.0L 24v V6, - about 255BHP on a cold day  Wink not really that fast in the scale of things, but it makes a rude noise, and is pretty discreet - keeps the rozzers at bay!  Grin
