Jake have you turned off your firewall? And if you are using XP the internal firewall too.

i was going to help but when i try to open the properties box of my computer icon, it is not there.......hagar knows what i'm talking about.......

i believe you turn it off by going in your C drive poperties box.......the windows will pop up, i remember on of them is sharing the drive. Well, in the last tab, if i remember well, there is the internal firewall option of turning it on or off.

If you're using XP, go to Start/Settings/Network Connections.

You'll see a menu item for your isp connection - right click it and select properties. A window opens with several tabs on it.

Click the Advanced tab at the far right and clear the checkbox at the top (if it has a tick in it).
