dowlading aircraft (Read 585 times)

this is a question about after i have saved the files from the aircraft onto my hard disk how do i bring them into the cfs2 game?
a very puzzeled flyer

Well, once the .zip file appears on your desktop, go inside it and you'll see one folder, eg: b737_200. Inside that folder are the MODEL, PANEL, etc. files. click on the main first folder and extract it to your CFS2 Aircraft directory (My Computer>Local disk>program files>Microsoft games>CFS2>Aircraft

PS: Or you can just copy-paste the add-on folder to it instead of extracting, same thing though  Wink

Read this & follow the simple instructions. http://www.simviation.com/acinstall.htm
Make sure you have WinZip installed. Try some prop aircraft from the CFS2 section until you get used to it. Jets & helos will work but need a few simple tweaks to show up. http://www.simviation.com/lair/aliasing1.htm
Take a tip from an old hand. Extracting files direct to the sim causes more installation problems than anything else I know. Please ignore all instructions to do so.
