The concluding part of my Comet flight. Arriving at my local and favourite airfield from which I fly the lovely Grumman AA-5 G-BBCZ.

...
Turning in as the sky starts to look a little better.

...
Its been a long flight but we start the approach to shoreham (notoriously thin runway but was a major airport in the 50's.)

...
Touching down.

...
From a different angle.

...
Turning off the runway.

Thanks

Nice pics in both posts, Crumbso Old Bean.

I can't beleive the size of those flaps, they are HUGE!! How much airspeed do you loose when they reach 100% deployment, I would imagine you would come to a halt and fall from the sky  ??? Grin

I can tell you it can lose speed pretty damn fast but you need to with that tiny runway. You can usually touch it down nice and gently at about 110 knots if you are nice to the throttle.

Nice shots. Is that a fairly new Comet? I have an older one that I think was originally for FS2000. If it's new, tell us the website.
