You obviously don't have the Sim, so I'll give you a bit of info.
You'll get it pretty cheap now that CFS3 is out.
Don't know where you are but in Australia it can be got for about $50 (US$35).

Planes: US - F4F, F6F, P38L, F4U1a  JAP- A6M2, A6M5, N1K2, (These are the flyable planes, there are AI (Artificial Intel) planes that make up the planes that you escort or attack as enemies).
Remember that there are literally thousands of other planes from WWI to present that can be downloaded here and added to the Sim.

There are 45 missions each for Jap and US. Also a dozen or so historical re-enactments and some training missions for US and Jap.
Once again there are heaps of ready-made missions that you can download from here and instal on your sim.

Don't use a pirated copy of the game with a patch - you'll have nothing but headaches.
Spend a few bucks - it's worth it.

Wow, here's a first.
I picked up cfs2 for £10 in the UK (about A$25 I think).
Never thought I would see the day when something was cheaper in the UK than anywhere else on Earth.
Now if only the cost of houses, cars, food, pc's and everything else would go the same way.

Seriously Coolpick, get the game it's excellent.
But beware, the misses has nearly kicked me out on several occassions for waking her up at 2 am (and later) whilst playing online.

have fun

This may save you some headaches and a post asking for help later.

Have a read of the Tutorials on the SimV Homepage, before you begin to add downloaded aircraft to your Sim.
Especially the section on "aliasing", as this is where most people find their first problems. It's all quite simple once you've read it and done it a couple of times.
