Hi:  I just purchased FS2002 Pro which means I'm totally new to this, so please forgive my total lack of knowledge of what is possible with this program.  What I want to know is the following...Is it possible to substitute the FS2002 standard ground textures and elevation maps with my own custom textures and maps?  I tried to fly around my home town but the scenery is all wrong, bodies of water in the wrong place, missing hills and mountains, etc.  If this is possible, what are the limitations of map size and resolution, etc.  Where can I find information on how to do this starting from scratch?

Yes, it is possible!

Do a search for your geographic region in the scenery database here at SimV, I'm sure you'll find something.

If you dont find anything, you can download "Airport for Windows" (free) or Gmax (free) and create your own.......that's where the fun really begins!

Please don't forget FS Scenery Creator which is the best & most user-friendly free scenery design program. IMHO  Wink
