When I ask FS2002 to start a flight at Lanai City, HI from the active runway, it dumps my plane in the grass about 40 feet to the left of the runway.  It also seems like it parks planes in unusual locations when I want to start from the ramp, but since Lanai City doesn't have jetways, this is harder to determine.

Moving the plance onto the runway is possible, but the taxi characteristics are about what you would expect when extracting a 737 from the mud.  Funny thing is that if you look at a top-down view, it shows the plane already on the runway!

Not sure if has anything to do with this problem, but I am using add-on scenery at this airport.

What do I need to adjust to get rid of this annoying situation?

this happens when the scenery textures aren't placed over the correct cordinates.   Like say the textures of the runway go from (3,7) to (3,20) but the the author created the computer-read runway (that you can't see) from (5,7) to (5,20).  The runway would appear to be to your left because the computer put you where it thought it should.

Sorry if that's a little confusing   Roll Eyes
