And once the hangar deck is secured, you can allow yourself the opportunity to make a short landing and rollout with a full stop just before the first wire, on the proper flight deck upstairs.....

Here is a better look at that last approach......this carrier sits a few miles off the coast of San Deigo and can be landed on or in, if you have the nerve to try.....

It takes no nerve to land on a carrier that size in a small plane!!!!

What takes nerve is landing a P38 on a WWII carrier with no tail hook... The breaks needed replacing! Grin
