a landing at Kai Tak. nothing more than that.

considering other landings at Kai Tak (look at Anet) this is a really nice one. i know what you gonna say: "you landed the wrong runway, take rwy 13!". i know but ATC told me to take rwy31 so i did that. next time i'll take the other one with the challeging aproach... beware!

ILS not working Sad, maybe wrong frequency...  Roll Eyes

GrinDoes it glow in the dark and not need landing lights?  I've had hangovers that looked like that, animals included!!!!!  Is that a real paintjob, a promotion or what? Grin Grin Grin

Cheesy
Hi Ken - greetings from Princeton NJ where I'm on holiday

If you enjoy this one just wait til you get the next one with the water back between the taxiways (the nullah I think it's called), all new custom buildings and night lighting, the checkerboard and IGS landing system in place for rwy 13, new real-life AFCAD file, authentic approach and departure charts included in package etc etc

I'll be working more or less non stop when I get home to get it finished.

Later!

Roger

Will, wait a bit longer until the new version is done

The experience with the current version really lacks a lot compared to what's coming. Since the original I've done a heck of a lot of research on the airfield, buildings and so on.

Now I'm not promising that it'll be as good as the payware Ultimate Hong Kong which looks fantastic but already what I've done is way ahead of the original which just used the existing MS facilities.

All of those will be gone. Just putting the water back between the taxiways totally changes the feel of the approach from both directions. And watching a heavy taxy across the bridge over the nullah esp at dusk with it's lights on is really satisfying.

And for IFR/ILS fans the IGS approach to 13 really is good fun especially if you crank in a bit of weather and a healthy cross wind. But you do need the water there - the non-realistic grass gives you a kind of false sense of security and makes it look like almost any other airfield when really it was totally unique!

Roger

BTW - Ken, yeah, I can't access any regular email right now as I'm using my son's PC. I'll pick it all up in a week or so when I get back to the UK
