Hello All,

I FINALLY figured out how to get the reflective textures back in on my repaints!! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
After many long hours and late nights I was able to figure out how to combine the Alpha channel properly to the repaint get the reflections back.

So I repainted my Baron last night.... Please let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance!

And I was so busy looking at my repaint that I failed to notice the tree right in front of me...(needless to say I did not have to time to pull up!) Grin

Yes, there is on the upper part of the plane. I actually did not mean for it to be so shiny. (Still learning). I am going to do it again tonight but try to make not so shiny.

Thanks!

You know, yesturday while taking my dog for a walk, my dog took a shiznit on the side walk, I saw the pile laying there, and guess what...my dogs pile of feicies had more reflection than that horse shiznit repaint.

But it is a nice plane though.

That's a bit mean. I liked it.
PS: How did you get the aircraft to break apart like that?

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. GrinMaybe Football's dog can become a consultant on "reflectiveness" to all the painters out there.  Sounds like he holds the secret, or maybe he has "shiznit" it all out of him/her by now.  Get a patent on that shiznit, Football.  lollll Grin Grin Grin

haha...take a chill football, its only picture... :-

only ONE thing wrong with the repaint, you need to make the windows reflective, not see through, but you are doing way better that i could ever do so good job

It seems as though you are a professional at this? I would love to see some of your work then! Or perhaps your dog could post something for us all to learn from...

Although I did ask for feedback, I don't think this was necessary...

To everyone elses comments, I say thank you! Smiley

In order to see actual damage, the aircraft has to have damage texturing. Most of the default aircraft do, but only some add-on aircraft.

You enable it by adding the following line to your aircraft.cfg file for the plane you want to see it on, just above the description near the top:

visual_damage=1

Grow up you know that dogs can't make planes.  I don't make them because I probable won't be good at them so I don't try.  Your just making an idiot of yourself by putting a plane that you know sucks onto this server.

If you don't try then you should not be so critical...if you think it sucks, then please tell me why, don't just be rude and say it sucks. I asked for constuctive suggestions not insults...

and...in case you did not notice, you are the only one that thinks it sucks...

Cherokee, I think any one who tries to repaint an aircraft has alot more talent than some "guest" who drops in here and insults people!

I guess this kind of sums up your mentality!
