Sometimes there are freeware planes that match and even surpass payware.
This little kitplane is a real gem. It's a Zenith 801 STOL and comes in a float as well as wheeled version.
The scenery is freeware called Louisiana Wetlands.
Also very very nice.

Nice shots. Where can I get that plane and scenery?
With all the wonderful freeware out there, looks like the only thing I'll need to pay for is a new 3D card to get thoes frame rates up for thoes complex addons.
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

Thanks for replying
I realize that a small g/a aircraft can't be as ultimately exciting as a big overpriced bomber so I appreciate that you take the time.
Both the plane and the scenery are available at avsim.

Downloaded the plane. Looks great!
However I can't get the scenery to show up in the airport or addon scenery list. I'd probably need would get only 3fps with that scenery anyway.
Secenery tends to be the biggest frame rate eater, even if you made even a small high res change. I should replace my old GF2 card. I've got $140 US to spend so I'm going to see what I can find.
