I am currently planning on switching over what aircraft i do most of my personal flying in (currently a 182). I am looking for something with a bit faster then it. I would like something that is low wing, nothing against a high wing just tired of flying them. I dont need anything big just maybe a 2 seater but as long as it has the speed i dont care. I dont do alot of long range flying so Range isnt a must but i do fly a longer trip now and again. So anyone know of a good airplane that will do this for me. (Note: This is all in a simulator, not old enough yet, only 13 currently)

i think i should add a bit more detail into here. I am looking for this to be a singal engin prop. Nothing fancy like a turbine engin or anything.

Personally I like some of the stuff in the vintage section (especially Spitfires), they have reasonable range, good speed, and are lots of fun.

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

The default Mooney is a nice four seater - decent range, good performance...

I still remember the ride I took in a neíghbor's Mooney...  we took off about 15 minutes after a Cessna 172, and still overtook him halfway to our destination!

Of course, (nudge nudge Brian) the current issue of the EAA sportsflyer magazine has an article on a VANS RV-4T, with a turboprop engine.....
