Well Katana, that didn't make much sense to me. I know you can do better. Can we have that again in joined-up writing with a little punctuation? LOL

i am from LA, where alot of slang stuff is from, and i also have a good knowledge of computer short hand, and i only got about 2/3's of that. . .mind writing it in a way that would be more understandable

Oh dear...I got all of Katana's message...here's a translation:
In case you want to know.about Hoover Middle School. Well because of the present day storm giving everyone in central MD a week off school, we 've got to make it up. We already were in school for one day that we were meant to be off, and well be at school over Easter. Well I'll just say I was at church all day (it's great to be are you orthodox (
Whitey:WTF!?
)). And now school ends 2 days later. It may not sound like much, but school sucks a lot to me (
Whitey: So we've heard..quite a few times
). Anyway the worst part of all if that is on the 19th we're going to a Six Flags park (
Whitey: Explanation, please?
). It may sound like fun but I cant go back since a 5c1 field trip there last year. I was banned...LOL, j/k. I was traumatized after going on one of the worst rolercoasters there. I could barly go on 'Le Glissade de Terrace' (bob sledding-its behind the 'Chateau Frontenac' in Quebec City) because of it-and it was a big at all. I dont think im gonna go on it very soon. All i know is that no f*cking way am I going on any roller coaster there. By the way, YKYBOTL (
Whitey: I don't get this bit...sorry
) if you perfectly understood this post. If you do, please shut down your computer, go to the library and check out a large book written in the 1500s and read it. (
Whitey: I guess you forgot the word dictionary?
)
OK...pointless post in the first place, but since there's been so much agony over it, there's what it says...I know, I use my mobile phone for texts way too much...

Excellent work Whitey....

Many thanks for deciphering Katana's message.
I read his original posting and tried to work it out, not easy, but it seems as though it's something he's quite good at, and must have spent some time working at it......?
It certainly was an un-usual thread and illustrates the way language is moving in the "text messaging" world....!
(It doesn't do a lot for good old-fashioned English tho'...)...LOL...!
Cheers...

Oh, don't get me wrong, I can still write in plain old English...here's part of one of my English essays for my folio to prove it:
All of a sudden the wind picked up and the rain began to fall, slowly and majestically at first, but soon it was lashing down, whipping anyone and anything that got in its way. Blown by the wind, the rain battered against the cliffside, like thousands of rocks thrown from ancient catapults. The wind was now howling daringly, throwing the sea about wherever and however it saw fit, like an army general. The wind was in control, sending wave after wave off the poor rocks and cliffside, each one a gigantic and terrifying wall of power, foaming from the tip as it charged at the rocks like a great knight on horseback.
A flash of lightning brightened the scene for a brief second, illuminating the world in an eerie new fashion, presenting a new scene, an even more horrific scene, where the rain was lit like thousands of flaming arrows fired from the powerful clouds and the cliff was shrouded in shadow, as if it were retreating from the terrible onslaught of the mighty ocean. The flash itself was beautiful in its ferocity, a moment of splendour in a terrible display of supremacy from the heavens. The trees that were perched precariously on the cliff seemed to stand defiantly against this gathering onslaught, as they cast long, drawn out and thin shadows behind them in the brief flash. The cliff, though, was shrouded in a mysterious shadow in this moment and it looked like it was drawing itself away from the dreadful assault, hiding like a frightened child. The clouds though were shown in a different light in this long moment, some were lit up and the rest were still masked in a mystifying gloom, as if they were awaiting their own chance to show what they could in the midst of battle.
LOL...hope you enjoyed my little bit of descriptive writing.
