This happens on my default b734 and POSKY's CRJ-200ER, both my favorite aircraft.

I start the flight, perform prechecks, blah blah down the checklist.  I get to the autopilot where it says for me to input the altitude I was cleared/filed for.  No problem, right?    WRONG

Let's say the altitude the alt readout on the autopilot was reading 2700.  If I filed for FL290, I'd have to bring it up to 29000.  SImple enough, however, when after a few clicks of the mouse, the increments with each click grow to 1000 each! Now the hundreds place is stuck at some odd multiple of 100, and the thousands are growing with every click!  With each roll of the mouse scroll the altitude goes up by 2000! I can't select 2500 unless it gets STUCK at 500!

This happens on my hdg, crs, and spd autopilot gauges as well.  The HDG CRS and SPD all act the same, increasing only in increments of 10, and not by 1.

This "increment" problem would happen spontaneously too, on and off, happening more "on" then "off".  I'd have to tell the controller, "sorry, i can't descend to 3200 because it was stuck at the 600.  Then i would click around and it would decrease to 100, then remain at 100 with every click...

Now, I've learned to live with this for the past few months, but I've hit my threshold in dealing with it and trying to figure it out...

I need saving...  Anyone solving this problem will gain my complete admiration and respect..

Hey man!
I am not sure but I think you should try to decrease your clicks rate. If that doesn't work then I have no idea....

I understand the problem you've got! your increasing your altitude on the autopilot... 1st click is 100, second is 500, next is 900 and then every 1000 after that! Roll Eyes
it happened to me yesterday on the defualt 737, 747 and 777.
Luckly i found the pattern involved. It was a line i added to the panel.cfg for the dynamic jetsmoke effects.
I would start there, or look at anything else that was added to any part of the aircraft.cfg, panel or whatever 8)

Thanks for the replies, however..

FSTipster: What your talking about is what I want.  Let me explain this more indepth:  Let us say I start the aircraft on the ground with the autopilot gauge at 00000 .   I click once, I then get 00100.  Another time after a few seconds to avoid that "fast skip effect", I then get 00200.  Once again, I get 01200.  Another click I get 02200.  You see? It gets stuck at a certain interval, then just stays at that interval and increases the thousands.

Basically the same thing with the hdg crs and spd readouts, they all start at zero, and with each click they go to 001.  Then to 002.  Then to 003.  Then to 013.  Then to 023.

On most of my other panels I don't have this problem, just basically on the MSFS 734 and the POSKY CRJ panel I have.

Maccers: Not exactly my problem, but I'll give the two .cfg's a thousandth look.  Maybe I missed something in my other 999 searches..

It was Tipster who solved this problem for me just a few posts back....!

Press ALT, click the Modules > FSUIPC option, and then to go to the "Technical" tab. Click "Fix control acceleration" (I think it's that, not sure) and your problem should ideally be all gone!

Well, whatdoya know, it worked!!! All aircraft now have 100 increments for the altitude and an increment of 1 for the HDG CRS and SPD! yay!  And my mouse's scroll button makes it fast by scrolling by 200's Smiley THanks so much FSTipster and zcottovision!  I love flying again 8)
