Speaking of Project AI, I just posted a question on the other forum about adding AI. The Project AI site doesn't appear to have a comprehensive tutorial on downloading those packages and how doing so can interfere with the default AI.

Actually, we do have a comprehensive tutorial on how to download and install the .pai airline files.
But, and I apologize, we don't have this page linked to the new forums yet.
You'll find everything you need to know about downloading and installation at this link

http://projectai.flight1.net/certified/installers.php

Or, check out The Jet Doctor, for more tutorials on how to add PAI aircraft, plus much more.

Thanks,

Well guys, to answer 2 questions with 1 reply....

We are working on new packages and the conversion of older packages to the new format.

I apologize for no releases lately, but we've done some restructuring in the beta department and are also building a packaging team so that we can move things along a bit faster.

We hope to have  some releases for you shortly.

And no Andrew, I won't say which ones.... Grin

Why did you switch to the new format?  I really liked the way the old installer.

The .pai file format allows us to do different things with the installer.
The biggest advantage is that you can now install several airline files at once. No more 1 at a time installation and waiting for it to compile before you can do the next one.
The install routine also has the ability, in the near future, to add afcad files of your choosing.

I personally like the new format. It's much more simple and it's less confusing then the old format
