Please could someone be nice enough to tell me why this is happening with my joystick:

Everytime I fly a prop, any prop, from a cessna to a beechcraft, when I'm on the takeoff roll when it gets to about 15 knots the plane turns to the left for some unknown reason, every single time and it's bloody annoying, and I can't prevent it.

The other problem, in the sidewinder settings, under forces, when I switch force feedback on, the joystick suddenly just slides to one of the sides when ever I hold it and it just won't stay in the centre, cause it's too tight to move away from the edge.  So I have to switch it off, which fixes the problem, and funny enough I'm stil getting force feedback with it switched off, I just want to know why it's happening.

Okay, Greg.  Here's what I know:

I have the Sidewinder FF Pro 2 as well.  The problem you MIGHT be having is that the FF settings are too high OUTSIDE the sim.  Go to the main game controlers area of your settings (start menu) and reconfigure the FF settings to low FF and high return to center.  Try using different settings here if it doesn't work.  You can also do this from inside FS2002 (you probably know where).

If that doesn't help, or you encounter another problem, I will try to help you out: the stick is very fun to use, but can be a pain to configure.

Thanks a lot for all your replies guys.  Ozzy I've been offline for 2 weeks!  Because I have to use a dial up connection here in Zim, and our phone line has been dead for the last 2 weeks!  Sounds really bad doesn't it?  I never thought that the torque thing was that bloody strong, can bearly stay on one of those thin runways in the vought corsair!  It's almost impossible to fly with the torque on full in Fighter Ace 2 that came with FS2002.  Which setting is the torque exactly?  And my force feedback in the joystick settings is switched off, altogether, but for some reason it still works in the flight sim.

And I heard that soon our electricity will also be switched off, which will be bloody useless!!!  If it happens I will be so pissed it's not even funny.

P.S.  Did I mention I'm going to get my PPL at the end of April hopefully, going for flight training throughout my April school holidays.  I'm thrilled, getting it when I'm 17, exactly a year after getting my driving license!   Got it last April!
