For those of you who were wondering, that is the FLAK effect by Chris Trotter.

See the rest of his effects at

www.geocities.com/chris20005649

Personally, my favorite is the nuke (yeah Grin), but the rocket boosters for the shuttle are very nice as well.

Hi guys, glad you all like my shot.

The flak effect file is not by Chris Totter. I wasn't sure where it was from when I found in in my effects folder, but I opened it up and it's from planesimulation.com.

I finally figured out how to add effects to scenery so when I found this effect file, I began playing around and that's what I came up with. I've got some other interesting effect scenery in the works too Wink

I have the same effect, but my copy designates Chris Trotter as the creator. ???

Maybe planesim got it from him, or it could be that he pirated it, although that is unlikely as he has made many different effects other than this one.

Or maybe they're all from planesim? Wink

Just because you havn't seen them doesn't mean they have. I've heard that there have already been over 1000 sorties flown over iraq, and I heard on the news that F-18s took out a iraqi convoy, so I assume F-14's are doing combat missions, we just not hearing about them

The effects shown in my shot ARE from planesimulation

Here's the second line from the flak effects:

Quote:
Display Name=Effect Copyright PLANESIMULATION

I also downloaded the file 'effects1.zip' from planesimulation just to confirm it

I went to Chris' website and didn't see any flak effects.

Besides, the effects i got from planesimulation have been there for atleast a year. They design weapon effects with combat sceneries. You should browse their website and have a look at their projects

I don't know if they are on his personal website, but they are listed here:

www.geocities.com/chris20005649

I have seen planesim's effects files, and they are (most likely) the same ones Trotter has, and are probably property of plansim.

cool shots.

There sure are F-14's in Iraq. MSNBC has a guy on the USS Lincoln I believe and they were recovering planes while talking to him yesterday.

First plane down was a Tomcat, then alot of hornets, a Prowler and finally showed the SH-60 coming in. All at night

If there is an airshow with in 2 states of me I'm there&&...&&&&

just to clarify Wink...tomcats were heavily used in night 1 of SHOCK AND AWE although primarily a fighter 2 sqns were adapted for smart weapons, also another role for them is fighter cover for the tankers and medivac operations. 8)

I love their new scenery i bought it Gulf War one or something. They say 43 new effects. I guess they invented the FS2002 weapons.
