There is also a set of (excellent) gauges by Roger Blanc that modifies the default pushback system (which I believe sucks).  The gauges allow you to control the pushback to the nth degree, and its a simple installation procedure, completely detailed in the readme file.  It also allows you to turn the nose while you are pushing back.  You can find it on most sim sites, and I know its here at Simviation.

There are several addons to the addon Grin which deal with taxispeed.  These are apparently by different people, which I found a little confusing.  The two other names I found in the Readme files of these gauges were Rob Barendregt and John Page.

Finding these gauges might be a little difficult, but just use the search engines found on most sites and type in the names listed here.  That ought to find you what you're looking for.

I've not seen the "Roger Blanc" incarnation so I'll make no comment on it as it's possible it's a re-work of the original done with permission. However on behalf of Rob Barandregt, I'd like to clarify the following points:

John Page has not coded anything in relation to the gauges referred to above.

It is all Rob's work which was uploaded by "John Page" in a very shoddy attempt to claim credit for Rob's work.

I did some beta-testing on that gauge for Rob, and being aware that it was about to be uploaded, I spotted the fake credit as soon as it appeared at flightsim.com.

If it appears anywhere else as credited to John Page, it should be reported to the webmaster as a pirated file.

Thanx for the warning!  I have a taxispeed gauge that has John Page's name in the readme file, but I am at a loss as to where I acquired it.

Be sure that if I see it out there again, I will check the names and alert those that should be told.

What a f*%k . . .
