I just couldn't resist. Smiley

...

A Borg Cube heavily engaged with 3 old-style Romulan Bird of Prey.

A couple of back-burner projects I'm working on...when other projects are too frustrating. This is why I love CFS/FS, they let me play with weird stuff.  Grin

The BOP's are grey because the original were grey. If I can get it to work to my satisfaction they will also have "cloaking devices". Smiley

Release for both models depends on my frustration level with more important (to me) projects. I'd anticipate no more than 60 days for both to roll out though.

It just doesn't interest me. For something to interest me, it has to be either historical or has to be realistic

Nothing wrong with historical or realistic...as long as it doesn't get in the way of you having fun. Smiley

Sorry, but zipping along at mach one shooting lasers at each other isn't fun for me. What's fun is flying in realistic aircraft with realistic weapons and flight dynamics, now that's FUN Grin

 SilverFox441,

Looks good when are you going to upload it?
If you watch "Balance of Terror" it shows the Old Romulan bird of prey white.  Now what would be cool
is to do one for FS2000 and 2002. from Next Generation.

The original BOP's were a light grey...most paint guides I have seen suggest a "light gull grey". That particular colour is so light that you can be forgiven for thinking it white. I wouldn't have known myself except I painted one a while back for a friend. Smiley

Both the Borg and the BOP are back-burner projects that only get worked on when I'm bored/frustrated by other stuff. Maybe 60 days until complete...depending on how bored I get. Smiley

There will be a FS 2002 version (I  don't get along well with FS2K)...a TNG version may follow in the distant future.
