Try this one for size ??? Every time I load Fs2002 I get a message 'Error Loading GPS Engine-Flight Plan will not be used.' I think this happened after I had d/loaded FS Navigator. Have uninstalled FS Nav but still get message. Click OK and FS loads OK but the ATC does not always follow plan. Anyone got any Ideas what I should be looking for to solve the problem. I think it must be tricky as I posted the question on my V/A site and never got a reply ??? ??? ???

Unusual. Have you tried re-installing the default gauges from the CDs? Can't remember which one it is on, but it sounds like your GPS is somehow screwed-up.

That's an error also generated by corrupted ATC cab files.
Have a hunt in the d/loads section for ScanBGLs v1.2 by Lee Swordy and run it. It'll let you know if there's anything amiss there.

I have had that error when I have opened a flight where I had inadvertantly deleted the flight plan that was in use for that flight. Normally once the flight has loaded you can go into the Flight Plan screen and use the "Clear Flight Plan" then save the flight again. Alternatively, you can specify a new flight plan and save the flight again.
I hope this helps.
Regards
Bill
