I am extreemly glad to hear it.

I think theres an F9F out there somewhere but i'm nit sure. The biggest selection of CFS3 aircraft I know of is at www.sim-outhouse.com so if you mosey over there  then you can see what they've got.

If theres non to your liking be patient. The aircraft will come slowly at first then you will be spoilt for choice.

Cheers Woodlouse.

Now for another query. (Great site this.)
The graphics does tend to freeze up now and again. Not very often, but it happens.

Any ideas what it might be?  ???I have increased the virtual memory.

How much RAM do you have? This is the usual cause of a lock up... With most people they have to reboot every hour or so to keep a good fps. Other than that i'm not really sure.

Hi Woody

I have 256 Mb. And I remember reading somewhere that it will work better with 512 Mb. Is that true?

Anywho, it's not too bad. I think I can live with it.

Thanks for your help though.

Well I can tell you that 512mb is the amount anyone would want. I have found that closing down all programs running in the background also helps with running.

I have 256mb and I get by alright. Its when the clouds go that you want to reboot.

Cheers.

Hi Woodlouse Grin

I'm doing the same thing and there is a difference.
I have also turned off the video graphics in between missions. And that helped a lot. The only bad thing is that I can't view the planes I choose to fly. Embarrassed

But if it makes the game run better then I think I'll live with it.

I spoke to Microsoft yesterday regarding the graphics
and they told me that the game will always be a bit jerky due to the immense graphics involved. Shocked

Kind regards

Hi

I am new at this also. My game was going back to the desktop. Make sure that your resolution is set at 1024. After changing my CFS2 works great.  Also make sure  everything that is running is shutdown.  Somethime things running in the background will cause this. Hope this works.
